Camping Decorating Contest

Our first annual Camping Decorating Contest theme is “Small Town Lights & Country Nights in Cowboy Boots with American Roots“.

Let’s all decorate our campsites for a chance to win big prizes…and have fun decorating your campsite to showcase it to your camping neighbors!

See the image above for some ideas and here are some examples:

  • Small Town Lights: Hang string lights on your camper and create a small town atmosphere.
  • Country Nights: “Country” has a couple of meanings…do you want to go with the “country music” theme or maybe the “country fields” theme?
  • Cowboy Boots: Display some old cowboy boots you are no longer wearing…or maybe all of you are dressed in your favorite cowboy boots.
  • American Roots: You can get as creative as you want with this…from USA flags to buntings to Americana vintage items.
  • Sponsors Logos:  Get creative by making your own or ask the sponsors for decorations.  Remember that there must be at least one item from each sponsor in your campsite.

How to enter the Camping Decorating Content:

  1. Register your team by Thursday, July 10, 2025 by texting your name, phone number and campsite location to Amy at 507-766-3744
  2. After your campsite is all decked out, text Amy two campsite images.
  3. Post a photo on your social media pages AND make sure to tag @vickiscampncountryjam .

On Friday, July 11th, our judges will come and view it in person between 10 am – 11 am. They will call/text you when they are on their way. The winners will be contacted at approximately 2 pm on Friday. We will connect with the winners on logistics to get the winners on the Main Kibble Stage to be recognized and get the prizes!
