Our second annual camping decoration contest is here! This year there will be THREE winners, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners!
Let’s all decorate our campsites for a chance to win big prizes…and have fun decorating your campsite to showcase it to your camping neighbors!
CHEERS TO AMERICANA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Decorating Ideas & Guidelines

CHEERS – Raise a mug, beer, or glass and decorate for fun! Think festive vibes, red Solo cups, drink signs, coolers, and anything that says, “let’s celebrate and CHEERS together.”
Hint: Judges love interactive campsites and being greeted with a cheerful CHEERS.
AMERICANA – Show your patriotic pride with red, white, and blue décor. Flags, stars, stripes, vintage patriotic pieces, military or veteran tributes, and bold Americana décor are all welcome.
Hint: Judges would love to see items that celebrate America’s 250th anniversary or honor our veterans and military families..

COUNTRY – Bring the country spirit to your campsite with cowboy hats, boots, bandanas, guitars, flannel, denim, and country-music-inspired décor — and feel free to showcase your favorite 2026 VCCJam artists in your decorations.
Hint: Judges love strong country music vibes and creative nods to the artists playing at VCCJam.

CHRISTMAS – Add a holiday twist to your campsite! Christmas lights, wreaths, Christmas trees, ornaments, Santas, stockings, and Christmas décor with a fun summer or western flair are all welcome.
Hint: Judges are looking for red, white/silver, and blue more than green and gold.

IN JULY – Celebrate summer at the VCCJam campgrounds! Think tiki torches, coolers, lawn games, festive drink stations, bright summer décor, and creative touches made for warm July nights.
Hint: Judges love seeing summer drinks and warm-weather creativity.

Each campground now has a sponsor. To qualify for judging, your campsite must include:
Campground Sponsor List:
Campground A — KLGR / Jack FM
Campground B — 2 Farm Chicks
Campground C — Jackpot Junction
Campground D — AP Design
Campground E — Coors Light
Campground F — KIK FM
Example:
If you are camping in Campground B, your campsite must include:
- At least one 2 Farm Chick items
- At least one VCCJam item
- Theme decorations
Examples of sponsor items could include signs, merchandise, branded décor, creative displays, themed props, or anything that clearly represents your campground sponsor. All campsites must include at least one VCCJam item to qualify for judgins.
How to Enter:
On Friday, July 10th, our judges will come and view it in person between 10 am – 11 am. They will call/text you when they are on their way. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be contacted at approximately 2 pm on Friday. We will be in contact with the winners on logistics to get the 1st place winners on the Main Stage to be recognized and get the prizes!
