Fun VICKI Facts
I love country music! I have it on everyday in the background while I’m working. I really like 80’s & 90’s rock too.
Who is your favorite artist?
Kenny Chesney!!! There are so many others I love, but Kenny is my fav!
What are your hobbies?
Hmmm. I’m not sure if live country music festivals are a hobby, but it is my wonderful life! I used to love golf, but my back won’t allow it these days. Being outside in the summer, enjoying the sunshine and going for walks are what I love to do.
What is your favorite season?
Summer is my favorite, with spring and fall tied for second.
Do you have any pets and if so, what kind, how many and what are their names?
This is the first time in my life that I don’t have any pets. When we lost Revvy, Lucky and Rocky, it was hard to get any more doggies with this busy lifestyle. Someday there will be lots more doggies!
Greg Knight
Operations Director
Fun GREG Facts
I like most all music, some more than others. Currently I’ve been listening to 80’s country and 90’s alt country.
Who is your favorite artist?
Too many to pick just one. Currently Waylon, Willie and Wilco!
What are your hobbies?
I really would like to fish and golf more, but there is never enough time to do so. I’m looking forward to spring again, to work on the festival site and make ground improvements. (Ok, now that is just big brownie points with Vicki…way to go “Greggypoo”.)
What is your favorite season?
Spring, summer and fall are all my favorites.
Do you have any pets and if so, what kind, how many and what are their names?
No, none at this time, unfortunately. Maybe someday when things slow down, we will have a lot more dogs! I like all kinds of dogs and my last one, Rocky, was a one of a kind!
Janet Carlson
Festival & Volunteer Director
Fun JANET Facts
Who is your favorite artist?
My favorite band is Journey. I really like Neil Diamond too.
What are your hobbies?
Spending time with my grandkids and our daughter and her husband and our son and his wife. We have three grandsons and one granddaughter. I really like helping Vicki with the festival too…we have tons of fun and lots and lots of laughter trying to get it all done.
What is your favorite season?
Spring is my favorite season. Winter is my least favorite.
Do you have any pets and if so, what kind, how many and what are their names?
We have four outdoor cats, named Dewey, Ginger, Mittens and Cow. Cow looks like a cow and is round as a cow. Our grandkids call him Watermelon, since he is as round and big as a watermelon.

I love all kind of music! More often than not, though, you’ll hear country or 80s rock/pop on my radio. I didn’t like country until I met my wife. She loves it.
Can’t choose just one.
Big, loud music festivals, which is convenient since I do concert production for a living! Occasionally I have time to get out on our boat with family and friends, which is my favorite way to relax.
What is your favorite season?
Summer. I make winter bearable by snowmobiling and going to Mexico for a couple weeks. “Sit right here and have another beer in Mexico”
Do you have any pets and if so, what kind, how many and what are their names?
A couple: Thundering Quarters “Thor”, our quarter horse; Whiskey Tango Foxtrot “Whiskey” our dog; Moose AKA – Cat Stevens, our cat; Gieco Gecko, our gecko.
Bob Rose
Activities Director
Fun BOB Facts
I am all over the board with musical styles, except gangsta rap. However, many years ago I gravitated to country and found how real and authentic the lyrics are.
I can’t get enough of Eric Church and Skynard. In reality, I love live music, so any country artist on the Big Stage or in the Saloon Stage at VCCJam is going to be a homerun for me.
I enjoy the solitary moments that accompany painting and repurposing treasures found at antique shops. Anything creative inspires me.
What is your favorite season?
Summer is my favorite season, give my elongated hours of sunshine; a boat and a cold brew; along with outdoor festivals and I am content. I have a true disdain for winter.
Do you have any pets and if so, what kind, how many and what are their names?
Many. Two cats, Thunderfat and Chestnut. Also, two skittish dogs and one California king snake named Noodle and one bearded dragon named Sqweet, that are my 6th grade son’s pets.
Terry Carlson

What are your hobbies?

What is your favorite season?
Fall is definitely my favorite season. How could I not love harvest time?!
Do you have any pets and if so, what kind, how many and what are their names?
In addition to our four cats, Dewey, Mittens, Ginger & Cow…we have 35,000 turkeys that are my pets. I don’t name them, I just call them all my girls. (Terry and Janet have a very large turkey farm operation.)
