Vicki’s Camp N Country Jam is excited to welcome national country music vocalists, LOCASH, to the Redwood Falls area Saturday, July 9th!
Who Is LOCASH?
Creating a sound that fuses modern Country and classic heartland rock with an edgy vocal blend, LOCASH is a music duo consisting of vocalists Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, natives of Baltimore, Maryland and Kokomo, Indiana respectively.
After breaking out in 2015 with their gold-certified tribute to appreciating what you’ve got, “I Love This Life,” LOCASH followed up with two more tracks defined by gratitude and good times. The flirtatious gold-certified number one smash, “I Know Somebody,” became their first trip to the top of the country radio airplay charts in 2016. They continue to win critical acclaim and awards with their music since.

What do you do during down time when on the road?
We write a lot of songs on the road, and we also do a lot of hunting, fishing and other sports while we’re out. I guess you could say we get some woods, water, sand and sandtraps out on tour!

What’s your favorite guilty pleasure comfort food?
I would have to say pizza and Starbucks, we can’t really pass up either one! For Chris, it would be cookies – he never met a cookie he ain’t friends with!

Favorite “adult” beverage?
We love red wine (we used to have our own) and now we have our own bourbon coming out.

Favorite music to listen to?
Anything that catches our ear and puts us in a good mood. Whether it’s Merle Haggard, Motley Crue, Bob Marley, Huey Lewis or Frank Sinatra, we just love all kinds of music.
